Lucy had a very successful Junior career that enabled her to spring board into the senior game with confidence.
Lucy was a 4 time English Junior Champion (2 x under 17, 2 x under 19), and a 4 time British Junior champion (2 x under 17, 2 x under 19). She was also runner up in the final of the English championships under 15 twice.
Representing England is a massive honour for Lucy. These have been some of her favourite memories wearing the England shirt and competing for medals.
Lucy was part of Team England in 2017 and 2018 when they claimed a bronze medal at the World Championships. The same 2 years Lucy and Team England also won the gold medal in the European Team Championships.
On an individual level, in 2018 Lucy became the under 19’s European Junior Champion. This was a title Lucy had been close to 3 times. In 2016 when she was just 16, Lucy came 3rd. In 2017, at age 17 Lucy came 3rd again, but in 2018 she was hungry as ever and won this title.
In 2018 Lucy competed in the prestigious British Junior Open, and claimed a bronze medal.
In 2018 Lucy claimed a bronze medal in the World Junior Championships.
